>UCLA Begin Postseason Against San Francisco

The No. 1-seed UCLA baseball team opens its postseason schedule on Friday night against No. 4-seed San Francisco (31-23) at the NCAA Los Angeles Regional. The Bruins (33-22) enter this year’s tournament as the Pac-10 Conference Champions. {Link}

For the 2nd straight year, the Bruins will host the Regionals at Jackie Robinson Stadium. The Regional is a two game elimination format with the winner of the pool advancing to the College World Series. UCLA were runners-up last season, losing to South Carolina.

Game 1 (2 p.m.)
3-seed UC Irvine (39-16) vs. 2-seed Fresno State (40-14)
Game 2 (6 p.m.)
4-seed San Francisco (31-23) vs. 1-seed UCLA (33-22)
Saturday, June 4
Game 3 (2 p.m.) – Loser Game 1 vs. Loser Game 2
Game 4 (6 p.m.) – Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2
Sunday, June 5
Game 5 (2 p.m.) – Winner Game 3 vs. Loser Game 4
Game 6 (6 p.m.) – Winner Game 4 vs. Winner Game 5
Monday, June 6 (if necessary)
Game 7 (6 p.m.) – Rematch of Game 6
