Dylan Hernandez reports on Twitter:
The Dodgers have reached an agreement with Dioner Navarro. Deal is pending a physical. Navarro’s deal with the Dodgers would be a major-league deal.
Dioner Navarro played in 75 games for the Dodgers during 2004-2005 before being traded to the Tampa Bay Devil Rays at the time.
It’s only a one-year deal.
I don’t really see this as an upgrade from Russell Martin. Dodgers will probably split time between the 3 catchers they have on the roster right now. (AJ Ellis, Rod Barajas, & Dioner Navarro)
