>Super Bowl Champs – Green Bay Packers

>

Congratulations to the Green Bay Packers!

Aaron Rodgers named MVP and was also pictured with his WCW Heavyweight Title.

This was a great Super Bowl. (except for Christiana Aguilera and the Black Eyed Peas)

I thought Greg Jennings played an excellent game and should have been the MVP but Rodgers did his job as well.

Every time Jennings would make a play, I would think of this Madden video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1P0yfq2wDvU (NSFW)

Box Score: Packers 31 Steelers 25

Super Bowl XLV Prop Bets

I was looking through all of the prop bets that gambling sites were allowing bets on. There are some weird bets that are only used for Super Bowl since it’s the biggest game of the year.

I picked out some bets that were unusual.

1. Who will the winning coach of the game thank 1st?  They also had this same bet for the MVP of the game.

2. First punt of the game.

3. Cross-Sports. You can bet on the Super Bowl and other sports happening on the same day. (NBA, Golf)

4. What will Fergie be wearing 1st appearance?

5. Which way will the first missed field goal travel?

6. Color of the Gatorade that’s used on the Winning Head Coach. You can also bet who performs the dumping.

7. President Obama’s pick to win the game.
8. Do you believe any NFL players will be arrested during Super Bowl weekend? You can bet on that.

9. For those commercial lovers, you can bet on which commercial has the Highest Rating on USA Today’s annual Ad Meter. (More choices available than pictured)

10. National Anthem. Will Christina Aguilera sing Over/Under 1:56? Also if you believe she’ll be wearing a Cowboys hat, there’s a bet for that.

If you are going to make any of these bets, let me know. I’m curious to see if anyone place these bets. Also if there are other unusual bets, let me know and i’ll add them.

Good Luck and win some money!

>Super Bowl XLV: Green Bay Packers vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

>

The AFC Champion Pittsburgh Steelers will take on the NFC Champion Green Bay Packers in Super Bowl XLV (45).

On February 6, both teams will play at Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, TX. Kick-off time is estimated to be around 6:25 p.m. EST.

National Anthem will be performed by Christina Aguilera and the Halftime show will feature a performance by the Black Eyed Peas.

The (14-4) Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Baltimore Ravens, 31-24, in the divisional round and the New York Jets, 24-19, in the AFC Championship round.

The (13-6) Green Bay Packers defeated the Philadelphia Eagles, 21-16, in the wild card round. They also defeated the Atlanta Falcons, 48-21, in the divisional round and defeated the Chicago Bears, 21-14 in the NFC Championship round.

The Packers are only the second #6 seed to ever make a Super Bowl appearance. The Steelers won the Super Bowl as a #6 seed in Super Bowl XL.

The early Vegas line for this game:
Jan. 24 Packers (-2.5)

My prediction for Super Bowl XLV:
Score – Steelers 24-20
MVP – Troy Polamalu

>NFL Championship Sunday

>

Later today, the NFL Conference Championship games will be played in Chicago & Pittsburgh.

3:30 P.M. EST (Green Bay Packers @ Chicago Bears)
6:30 P.M. EST (New York Jets @ Pittsburgh Steelers)

I’m taking the Green Bay Packers to beat the Chicago Bears 20-14 and the Pittsburgh Steelers to defeat the New York Jets 14-10.

I just see great defenses in both games. The reason the Bears are playing today is because of their defense.

Well i’ll leave you guys with this from Bart Scott, i’m sure everyone including myself feels this way right now:
